UNILORIN Student Email Account Activation Procedure




The management of the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) has released the student email activation procedure.

UNILORIN STUDENT EMAIL ACTIVATION PROCEDURE.

1). Click on ‘Login – Student Here’ link on the Google Apps for Education Icon on the left side corner of the University of Ilorin website  ( i.e. https://www.google.com/a/students.unilorin.edu.ng/servicelogin)

2). Username: as provided by student and the  Unilorin students domain name e. g. Username@students.unilorin.edu.ng

3). Default Password (a.k.a. initial Password) for newly created student email: stdunilorin$2017 

4). Accept the End User License Agreement (EULA), and click on Continue

5). Change your password ( 8 alpha-numeric characters minimum )

The Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics, ASUP, has suspended its nationwide strike, 15 days after the industrial action began. JAMB Suspends Sales Of 2018 UTME Registration Forms The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, has disclosed that it has suspended the sales of the 2018 JAMB application forms which was to begin on Wednesday November 22nd, 2017. This was made known by JAMB's spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin. According to him, the postponement was necessitated by the delay in meeting the agreed deadline by the publisher of the compulsory reading text meant for prospective candidates for the 2018 UTME which was supposed to be delivered on or before November 7th, 2017. “As at close of work today, the publisher had not provided the 1.8 million copies required and this development painfully forced to the Board to shift the date from Wednesday 22nd November, 2017 to a date to be announced soon. ”JAMB said it regrets all inconvenience occasioned by this postponement as it is working round the clock to announce a new date soon”, the statement said. This is to inform all candidates who have been offered provisional admission in the 2017/ 2018 UTME admission exercise that the clearance exercise will commence on Monday, 27 November, 2017. ASUP Indefinite Strike May Be Called Off Next Week

There are indications that the Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics, ASUP, may call off its 10-day old strike next week. The Union has been able to meet with the Minister of Education and from what transpired in the meeting, it was a fruitful discussion. At the moment , process is ongoing for the Memorandum of Understanding to be signed. The union leader will be meeting next week to deliberate on the negotiations with the Federal Government so far and hopefully bring the strike to an end. Recall that ASUP commenced nationwide indefinite strike on November 13 due to the federal government’s failure to fulfill the outstanding agreement made with it.
