ASUP Suspends Strike Action

The Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics, ASUP, has suspended its nationwide strike, 15 days after the industrial action began. This was confirmed by the chairman of the Moshood Abiola Polytechnic chapter of the union, Kola Abiola, on Wednesday night. It was learnt that the union suspended the strike after memorandum of understanding with the federal ministry of education and ministry of labour. The union considered the suspension of the strike as a way to give opportunity for the implementation of the Memorandum of Settlement and Actions is has reached with the FG.  Recall that ASUP had on 13th November 2017 embarked on an indefinite nationwide strike to press home their demands.

UNN Notice To Students On Adding/Dropping of Courses

This is to inform all students of University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN) who may wish to add or drop course(s) that with effect from 2017/2018 academic year, such students are expected to pay the sum of N500.00 (Five hundred Naira) at designated banks for each add or drop card.  Students are also to note that at the end of the registration exercise, a window period of two weeks will be opened to enable students wishing to add or drop courses to do so. At the expiration of the two weeks, no requests for add and drop of courses will be entertained by the administration.  All Deans of Faculty and Heads of Department are kindly requested to bring this all important information to the attention of the students.  (Sgd.) UI Acceptance Fee Payment And Clearance Procedure - 2017/2018

This is to inform all candidates who have been offered provisional admission in the 2017/ 2018 UTME admission exercise that the clearance exercise will commence on Monday, 27 November, 2017. Candidates are, therefore, advised to proceed to the admissions portal on  www.admissions.ui.edu.ng  to pay a non-refundable acceptance fee of Thirty-Five Thousand Naira only (N35, 000:00) using the approved payment mode. FULAFIA Admission List 2017/2018 Released

The management of Federal University of Lafia (FULAFIA) has published the list of admitted candidates for 2017/2018 academic session. The list is yet to be uploaded online. However, the list has been made available on the school's notice board. Candidates are therefore advised to check their admission status on the school's notice board. We will update you when the list becomes available online.

JAMB 2017 Admission Status Direct Portal Enabled

The direct link for 2017 UTME candidates to check their admission status on JAMB Portal via their JAMB profile has been enabled. UMYU Postpones 2nd Post UTME Screening and Aptitude Test 2017/2018
